"“Great deep-space views….The mount was robust and, when tapped, the vibrations quickly dissipated, showing it was a stable platform. Using the 25mm eyepiece, the star Altair was sharp across 90 percent of the field of view, with only slight distortion close to the edges. Using the 10mm eyepiece we just split Epsilon Lyrae into four stars and Albireo had lovely gold and blue component stars. All our test nebulae and galaxies were easily viewed. The Dumbbell Nebula showed strong mottling and the the Andromeda Galaxy filled the view at low magnification, with its two companion galaxies also visible."

The Sky-Watcher EVOSTAR-90 (EQ2) telescope is a classic two-element, air-spaced, achromatic refractor. It is an outstanding, high-performance, high-resolution instrument manufactured to high standards of optical and mechanical precision. With its long focal length and breathtaking, diffraction limited optical performance, it is ideal for the detailed high-power study of the Moon, Double-Stars, Planets and other objects in our solar system, providing crisp contrasty images. Supplied with the EQ2 equatorial mount, which when polar aligned, will allow you to easily track objects as they move across the night sky via its slow motion control cables.

AIR-SPACED TWO-ELEMENT ACHROMATIC REFRACTORSAn ordinary single lens brings different wavelengths of light to different focal pointsAll Sky-Watcher Refractors are built with air-spaced two-element lenses, which reduce chromatic aberration more than standard doublet lenses.
